Free Online OSHA Training

No doubt you have heard about OSHA’s December 1, 2013, deadline for employers to provide training for all employees on the new GHS labeling system requirements in the revised Hazard Communication standard. To help employers meet this obligation, OSHA is offering an online training tutorial titled "Understanding the GHS Labeling Requirements".

This free tutorial explains the new GHS labeling system adopted by OSHA when they revised their hazard communication standard in 2012. Employers must provide training on this particular topic to their workers no later than December 2, 2013. Free for employers to use worker training, compliments of OSHA Training Services Inc.

In addition to the great OSHA training listed above, there is also a free video on the new Safety Data Sheet (SDS) format required in the revised OSHA standard as well. Check out the OSHA Training website!

American Traffic Safety Training Institute (ATSSA) has been awarded a four-year, $11.9 million grant from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) to provide roadway safety training nationwide for workers and others who make their livelihood on America’s roadways. Training and certification is available in the topics of Traffic Control Technician, Traffic Control Supervisor, and Flagger Instructor. Classes will be offered throughout the State. Please check the link to register for training in your area.
