Patricia Slaven, Training Specialist

Patricia is new to JPIA, joining in May of 2008 as a Training Specialist. In this new position for the organization, Patricia will be responsible for bringing new and innovative training ideas and methods to the association and its members. She brings over ten years of training and development experience to JPIA, having worked in a variety of industries and taught a wide array of training topics. Patricia has taught classes all over the state for member organizations and private businesses and has specific expertise in creating programs for managers to develop their skills as leaders and mentors. Patricia obtained her Bachelor's degree from the University of Redlands, her Master's in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento, and holds the designation of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Society for Human Resources Management, an international human resources organization.
