Harve LaBounty, Risk Management Advisor

Harve LaBounty has three decades of experience managing environmental health and safety issues. Harve joined the JPIA in 1994 and has several years of field experience as a consultant in addition to developing and presenting informational programs. Prior to joining the JPIA, he was Health and Safety Manager at UC Davis and Director of Environmental Health for Calaveras County.

Harve's experience and education in EH&S led to acquiring Board accreditation as a Certified Safety Professional. He is also a Registered Environmental Health Specialist, Registered Environmental Assessor, Specialist in Cross-Connection Control, and State of California Water Treatment Operator, Grade 3. A strong advocate of continuing education, he strives to make his presentations informational, engaging, and entertaining.

Harve retired in 2008 and currently serves as an advisor for the JPIA.
