Training

The Joint Powers Insurance Authority offers a wide variety of training to its members at little or no cost. Training is offered locally, regionally, and online for the members' convenience.

Resources

An extensive video lending library, risk control manual, risk transfer manual, safety bulletins, and other risk management tools are provided at no additional cost.

Coverage Programs

The risk-sharing pools of the JPIA are a cost-effective form of risk management available only to public entities, allowing them to bypass the high cost of commercial insurance.

Committees

In addition to having a representative on the Board of Directors, members have the opportunity to give input through the Authority's committees and subcommittees.
