Risk and Safety Technician

ACWA JPIA is recruiting for a Risk and Safety Technician to join our Risk Management team. The candidate will work under the supervision of the Risk Control Manager and will be responsible for a wide variety of comprehensive, complex, and specialized technical and administrative duties in support of the ACWA JPIA Risk Management department, including conducting virtual or occasional on-site general risk management inspections to assess conditions affecting safety, risk control, loss prevention with emphasis on significant loss areas and advises corrective action(s) from inspections; supports the department’s safety training efforts; assist with maintaining the department’s records; research and compiles a variety of reports; and performs special projects. The JPIA anticipates hiring at $84,864, which represents the top of the first third of the established salary range, $72,741 – $109,111. To determine approximate total compensation, add an additional 38% to the salary. This more accurately represents the total benefits received as an employee.

Claims Adjuster II or III

ACWA JPIA is recruiting a Claims Adjuster II or III to join our Liability and Property Claims team. The candidate will work under the direction of the Liability and Property Claims Manager and will be responsible for handling all phases of assigned liability and property claims, from initial contact to the conclusion of the claim, including litigation management.

The salary for the positions are:

  • Claims Adjuster II (non-exempt): The JPIA anticipates hiring at $103,400, which represents the top of the first third of the established salary range, $88,628 – $132,942.
  • Claims Adjuster III (exempt): The JPIA anticipates hiring at $114,133, which represents the top of the first third of the established salary range, $97,828 – $146,743.

ACWA JPIA is recruiting a Member Services Representative II to join our Member Services Department. The candidate will work under the general supervision of the Director of Pooled Programs and will be responsible for assisting members in selecting and maintaining appropriate insurance coverage; explaining and answering questions regarding coverage programs; assisting members in application for participation in coverage programs; preparing insurance coverage comparisons; and establishing and maintaining JPIA insurance program and member files.
